YEO KIM SAN

Founder & CEO

Starting his career in 1978 as a Senior Sales Engineer at O’Connor’s Engineering in Selangor, Malaysia, Kim San then started his AV era with the founding of Acoustic & Lighting Group (A&L Group) in 1996. When he first founded the company, he only had a total of four staffs and today, the company has grown to 200 over staffs.

A visionary leader, Kim San strongly believes that people are his greatest assets and heavily promotes the importance of providing training and development for his staffs. Today, A&L Group’s headquarters hold a well-rounded service centre, a spacious warehouse, four multi-functional product showrooms, and a flexible workspace for various divisions. Despite being a visionary, Kim San still endeavours to be a hands-on leader and is continuously deeply involved in all aspects of the organisation, and getting to know his people, products and projects thoroughly.

EUGENE YEO

Group General Manager

Eugene graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree specialising in International Business. He began his career with A&L, being involved in various roles before relocating to Singapore in 2008 to expand the company's reach. Under Eugene’s leadership, A&L has steadily risen as a prominent professional AV company in Southeast Asia, establishing operations across Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Cambodia. His forward-thinking approach, blending emerging business trends and technology with a people-focused leadership style, has been instrumental in A&L's strategic growth and regional influence.

Committed to navigating the ever-evolving market landscape, Eugene believes that with the constant changing of market dynamics, leaders have to stay very clear on their vision, constantly adapting to different challenges, empowering the team, fostering collaboration and effective communication, together elevates the AV industry in South East Asia. Outside of work, he finds inspiration through fitness and global reading trends, which fuel his innovative strategies. With a passion for nurturing talent, Eugene invites like-minded individuals to join him in shaping the future of the professional AV industry in Southeast Asia.

MICHELLE YEO

Business Development Director

Michelle started her career as an Assistant Manager, in the Equity Capital Markets – and then progressed to become the Business Development Manager at Acoustic & Lighting Sdn Bhd for 9 years. Currently, she is the Business Development Director and oversees all strategic planning and growth plans for the Group.

She understands that the most challenging aspect is communication among people and believes by placing individuals in the right place as everyone can excel with their individual’s talents and strengths.

Her goal is to see A&L Group extend its business to more countries, marking its presence internationally. Hence, she hopes to cultivate more talents to propel the Group towards that goal.
